BuisnessWeek Ranks Colorado Springs in Top Ten Places to Start Over

According to BuisnessWeek, Colorado ranked #8 in the best cities to start over in. Here are the stats that BuisnessWeek posted about our great city:

Best job prospects: Construction, Nondurable goods manufacturing, Wholesale & retail trade, information, Financial activities, Leisure & hospitality, Other services and government.

Population: 372,437

Average home price in January: $190,000

Unemployment rate: 8.5%

Colorado Springs, the state's second-largest city, is 80 miles south of Denver's International Airport and about 90 minutes east of popular ski resorts. It draws more than 6 million visitors each year.

Its no surprise to those for us who live in Colorado Springs that it is a beautiful place to live but to be told that it is also a great place to start over because Colorado Springs is one of the cities "where jobs are available and real estate is affordable", well that just proves even further this is a wonderful place to live.
